Rachel Welch as Red Sonja

Rachel Welch as Red Sonja
Isn't one of fan things, where you take the gal.you have hots for and transform her into your favorite heroine. No,back in the 1970's,when Red Sonja showed in the pages of the Savage Sword of Conan No#1,in her so called iron bikini,as Roy Thomas called back then,it bugged me why it was somewhat familiar.Where the hell did I see it before?

Well, times goes-one forgets such questions-until recently watched the movie Bedazzled. Why?
Rachel was in it.I've watched anything from Fantastic Voyage to whatever.

Bedazzled is a 1967 British comedy film directed and produced by Stanley Donen. It was written by and stars Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. It is a comic retelling of the Faust legend, set in the Swinging London of the 1960s. The Devil (Peter Cook) offers an unhappy young man (Moore) seven wishes in return for his soul, but twists the spirit of the wishes to frustrate the man's hopes.Spiggott fills the time between these episodes with acts of minor vandalism and petty spite, incompetently assisted by the personification of the
seven deadly sins, notably Lust (Raquel Welch) and

 Envy (Barry Humphries).

Rachel Welch must have inspired  artist Estibon Morato when gave  Red Sonja iron bikini. The picture above is a publicity still for the movie and rest is my photoshopping stuff over Rachel to make my point. She dressed up in white sequence circles, but thats not much of a junk from there to metal circles. And early Red Sonja art,had wear the same, exactly piled up hair do as Miss Welch, before everything got messed after Frank Thorne.
So next, you see Rachel Welch something, remember, she have unknowingly might contributed to the look of Red Sonja,by Tarim and Erlick!
